Good Morning Vietnam at Bun cha Huong Liên

It's possible to enjoy a popular dish in the place where it came from. Just enter this restaurant, visited by President Obama.

In North Vietnam, bun cha is made of rice vermicelli (bun) and fried or grilled hash (cha). In Hanoi, besides the vermicelli, bun cha consists of pork, minced or cut into strips and grilled over charcoal or cooked in a pan. In the south, the meat is marinated with lemongrass and garlic and enriched with herbs, and then served with salad and a bowl of sweet and sour fish sauce.

On an official visit to Vietnam, US President Barack Obama immortalised Bun cha Huong Liên by having the famous bun cha with food writer Anthony Bourdain along with a Vietnamese beer straight from the bottle.
